“Our second visit and it was just as fantastic as we remembered first time!  We were greeted by the ever so friendly and polite owner’s 10 year old son ho showed us around to see what had changed since our last visit and introduced our children to his sister and other children, which meant we could enjoy a beer in sunshine in the garden while the children played – a perfect start!  A perfect sunny day at Seahosues, picnic on the beach, visit to Bamburgh Castle, “daddy” successfully survived the triathlon despite the chilly sea, and of course we loved walking around the farm and seeing “Annabel” the sheep again!  Thank you for another wonderful weekend, in the words of Arnie, “we’ll be back!””

The farm was filled with jam packed fun and adventure for the kids, collecting eggs was the highlight of our daughter’s morning.

“Like so many others, our highlight has been feeding the lambs. We love the pigs too but they are not quite so cuddly!. We only wish we had longer.  Thank you Allison and the team for all the finishing touches and hospitality.”

“Super cottage and the girls really enjoyed playing with Allison’s children. Just sorry that we could only make a short visit.”

Sally and family, October 2013 - Budle Haugh

“Utterly magical! We were lucky enough to be the first family to stay at Budle Haugh and what a treat it has been, we didn’t want to leave.  The cottage and location are first class – so much more than we could have asked for. Many thanks to Allison and family for making our holiday so special and for being so welcoming and hospitable. So many “best bits” but a few highlights include the fabulous wendy house and toys, feeding the lambs, collecting and eating freshly laid eggs…the list goes on! We really appreciated the personal touches – fresh flowers, welcome pack and the children adored the brilliant age appropriate toys. We will definitely be back! Thanks again.”

“This beautiful cottage was the perfect base for exploring a beautiful part of England. The kids loved the animals and it was the highlight of their stay – thanks!  P.S. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!”

Hynes family, January 2014 - Budle Haugh

The cottage was everything and more than we expected – beautifully furnished, fresh flowers, nice bottle of wine, every cooking utensil you ever needed, great outdoor areas with toys, books and games to keep our child happy and occupied.

“This was our third visit to Budle Falls. The refreshed cottage is still as inviting and cosy as ever, and the new sofas are very comfy. Our son loved feeding there animals and collecting eggs. Apart from the farm, his favourite place was Barter Books in Alnwick. Can’t wait to come back in the summer.”

Heather and family, February 2014 - Budle Falls

“Such a lovely cottage, equipped with everything we could possibly need. We especially love the playhouse and ice cream parlour – our trips to the beach were delayed each morning until we visited the “café”! Mabel our dog loved the cosy bed too! No one wants to leave…”Nicky and family, May 2015.
