Prices & Availability

For our 2 cottages, there are 5 pricing seasons (Low, Mid, High, Peak and Christmas/ New Year). The vast majority of our holidays are at Off Peak prices. For Budle Bay Bothie’s Two Shakes shepherd’s hut there is the same pricing throughout the seasons.

In our cottages, we typically have guests staying for a week or short break. Our 7 night breaks can start on either Monday or Friday.  We offer short breaks throughout the year – starting Friday to Monday, or Monday to Friday.  To check availability, please look to the calendar for each cottage – if you hover over the check in day you can determine the price for the week or short break. You can stay for longer than a week – please contact us for prices.

In Two Shakes, guests can stay from 1 night up to 7. Please contact us if a longer stay is required.

As a token of our appreciation, if you have stayed at Budle Bay Croft or Budle Bay Bothies before, and we have a booking made under your name, we can offer you 10% discount off all of our prices for bookings of 7 nights or more. Please contact us for the discount code and we can verify your booking. We also offer guests working in the NHS or caring professions 5% discount. Contact us for the discount code where we will need proof of employment. Discounts can not be used in conjunction with any other offer.

As five star properties, our fully inclusive prices include everything. No meters to take readings for, no broadband charges and no need to bring your own sheets and towels – just your beach towels! Additionally, you will find the properties to be incredibly well equipped, with free child equipment (Budle Haugh and Budle Falls only) and dog baskets, so you won’t have to pack the car to the rafters!  The prices include all fuel, including logs for the fire, bed linen and duvets, towels, local treats such as cakes or biscuits, lovely natural designer toiletries and a decent bottle of wine.

Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am – we need this time to ensure your cottage is cleaned to the required 5 star standards. Guests of Budle Haugh and Budle Falls have access to the gorgeous private Ocean Club in Seahouses small co-payment required).  There is an immaculate pool, children’s pool, gym, sauna, hot tub, fitness classes, as well as an excellent dog friendly licensed cafe. In addition there is an award winning beauty spa. The Ocean Club is perfect for wet weather days and the lovely cafe is dog friendly too!

Our prices can occasionally change.  The price quoted at the time of your booking is yours, even if we increase the prices of holidays.

We sometimes offer promotions. These are available while advertised, and guests may use only one offer at a time. Offers can be withdrawn without notice.

You will be required to pay the deposit (25%) if your holiday start date is more than 2 months away, or the full balance if within two months. If you want to pay the whole amount and your start date is more than 2 months away, please make a note of that on the booking form. MASTER CANCEL RISK-FREE BOOKINGS

Delighted to share that we have been accepted for Master Cancel Risk-Free Bookings – all new bookings made after August 1st 2020 with arrival dates from 1st August 2020 are protected for cancellation by the Budle Bay Croft Master Cancel programme.

Cancel your booking, without giving a reason, between 60 and 2 days prior to arrival for a full refund of your accommodation costs.

Book with confidence, knowing that if you cancel for any reason, you will be returned your costs.

No forms to fill in, no doctor’s notes or any evidence required.

Simply notify us by email of your cancellation and you will be reimbursed within 7 days of the arrival date of your original booking.

And yes. Covid 19 is included!

As we have some availability in July 2020 due to holidays being swapped to next year, we will offer a refund in full for any booking taken from now for July if the holiday cannot go ahead due to COVID19. But hurry. We don’t have much availability left!
